Judge Joanna S. Kishner serves the people of Clark County as the presiding judge of Department XXXI of the Eighth Judicial District Court. She first assumed office on January 3, 2011, following her election, and is committed to upholding access to justice, integrity in the courtroom, and public confidence in the legal system.
Roots in Southern Nevada
Born and raised in Southern Nevada, Judge Kishner brings a deep understanding of the community she serves. She graduated from Clark High School in 1982 and returned to the region after forging a successful legal career.
